The BYU Cougars and Cincinnati Bearcats have agreed to a two game football series that will be played in 2015 and 2016. The Bearcats are just the latest school from the Midwest to agree to a football series with the Cougars. BYU already has games with Notre Dame, Nebraska, Wisconsin and Middle Tennessee State set for future seasons.

Brigham Young University and the University of Cincinnati today announced the schools have agreed to a home-and-home football series for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
The Cougars and Bearcats will meet at LaVell Edwards Stadium in Provo, Utah, in 2015 with the second game being played at Nippert Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio, the following season.
"I like this series with Cincinnati. This will be the first time our football program has ever played in Ohio," said BYU director of athletics Tom Holmoe. "It meets our objective of playing in different regions of the country and brings another quality football opponent to LaVell Edwards Stadium."
BYU and Cincinnati have never met in football. The only team BYU has ever faced from the state of Ohio is Ohio State in 1982, 1985 and 1993. All three meetings were in bowl games.
