Utah State might not be ranked, but UTSA head coach Larry Coker believes the Aggies should be. With only two losses on the year, Utah State is having one of its best seasons in school history. UTSA only has two losses as well, including an embarrassing loss to San Jose State last weekend.

When Utah State and UTSA meet this weekend, the WAC conference matchup promises to be anything but embarrassing for either team, as the Roadrunners (5-2, 1-1 WAC) host the Aggies (6-2, 2-0 WAC) Saturday with kickoff set at 12:04 p.m. MT.

This will be the first time these two teams have met, and it couldn't come at a better time. Utah State is in first place in the WAC while UTSA is fifth, but with a victory over Utah State, UTSA can tie for first with the Aggies in the conference.

Here is what coach Coker said about Saturday's game:

On playing Utah State:

"We have a tremendous challenge this week against Utah State. They're a very good team and a very balanced team — run and pass. They are very physical. We definitely have a handful. Hopefully we have a good crowd for homecoming."

On Utah State's losses this year:

"They're a very complete team. I think they're a Top 25 team. I think you look at their schedule, they've lost two games by a total of five points. Two points at Wisconsin and three points at BYU. They're very close to being undefeated. I think they're that good. It's not a fluke."

On USU's offensive weapons:

"Their quarterback is very active. He can throw the ball. He can run the football. They have an outstanding running back. He's an NFL-type player. I think they are a very complete football team."
