SALT LAKE CITY — Zombies have infested the popular Rocky Point haunted house, and the threat must be exterminated.

That's the storyline behind the latest incarnation of terror at Rocky Point, called Junkyard Zombies. It's an interactive haunted house that allows visitors to shoot and kill the zombie invaders with laser guns as they try to eat your brains.

"It's the first interactive, live, laser tag zombie killing game," said organizer Cydney Neil.

It's not only about cleansing the Earth of the impending zombie apocalypse, it's also about a cause. Part of the sales will go to help the Boys and Girls club, according to Neil. It will also help fund a documentary about the Rocky Point site.

"It really scared us. Almost scared us to death," said one young visitor.

Tickets are available at the door and online through SmithTix. Regular tickets are $10 or you can buy a VIP ticket for $11 that will get you to the front of the line.
