SALT LAKE CITY — A group of teens is in the hospital after police say they stole a car and smashed it into a parked truck.
Officers say two or three teens ran away following the crash at 1350 W. 1300 South. Two more were pinned inside the stolen Honda until firefighters cut them out of the car.
Officers with police dogs tracked down two of the teens in some nearby bushes. Police found a blood trail and some clothes and are looking for another suspect.
A Salt Lake City police lieutenant said four of the suspects were taken to a hospital. All are juveniles and could face charges including possession of a stolen car and possibly drunk driving.
