PROVO — The BYU Cougars football team has reached the halfway point of the season, and needless to say, there have been many newsworthy and unexpected turns for the program.

This week is a big week for the Cougars — they play the No. 10-ranked Oregon State Beavers of the Pac-12. BYUtv's Dave McCann and Blaine Fowler breakdown the game in this video. However, they will have to go on without freshman QB Taysom Hill, who suffered a torn LCL. In the video, McCann and Fowler breakdown Hill's injury and the effects it will have on the team the rest of the season. Also, they discuss the impact the new missionary age limit will have on football recruiting.
