SALT LAKE CITY — Athletes provide an array of inspirational stories and moments. People love sports, in part, because of the drama behind the events and athletes. Many athletes overcome great obstacles to do miraculous things in their respective competitions.
This video is another story that may turn out to be one of those happy endings.
It is a short documentary about former LSU football player Chad Jones, a multi-sport star in college, was drafted by the New York Giants of the NFL in 2010.
Before Jones could play a game, however, he was involved in a brutal car crash that severely injured his left leg. Many believed Jones would never walk again, let alone play football.
But with rehab and training, Jones has defied those odds. Not only is Jones walking, but he is working his way to getting back on the football field.
This short documentary (some scenes are a bit graphic) looks at Jones's ongoing journey to finally, one day, step on an NFL football field.
