SALT LAKE CITY -- The offseason is coming to a close and the Jazz have locked up their lone draft pick today.
The Jazz and Kevin Murphy have agreed to terms in time for the rookie to be on the team in time for training camp.
Per team policy the terms of the deal weren't released. The 6-7 guard is the second all-time leading scorer for Tennessee Tech, where he scored 2,019 points, with a 20.6 point average his senior year.
This signing puts the Jazz at 15 signed players, unless and until the long reported Raja Bell buyout goes through.
There is also some news regarding Bell. Well actually non-news. Steve Luhm of the Salt Lake Tribune reported that Dennis Lindsey and Bell's agent, Herb Rudoy, have agreed to not talk about the buyout, until it is finished one way or the other.
For now the last piece is in place for the season and Jazz fans can focus on the team that is present, or make fake trades for Twitter.
