(KSL News) -- Southern Utah University just announced Greg Stauffer will serve as the school's interim president. The Utah Board of Regents made the decision while meeting in Price.
Stauffer will temporarily replace current President Steve Bennion. President Bennion is leaving SUU to serve as the president of the New York, New York South Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served the university for nearly a decade.
Greg Stauffer is no stranger to Southern Utah; he currently serves as the school's Vice President for Administrative and Financial Services.
