Salt Lake erupted for six runs in the fifth inning to give the Bees an 8-5 come from behind win over the Tucson Sidewinders on Thursday night. Down 3-1 in the fifth, Reggie Willits delivered a two run triple to tie the game and scored the go-ahead run on a single to center by Nick Gorneault. After Gorneault scored on a fielder's choice by Kendry Morales, Adam Pavkovich lined a two run homer to left to cap off the inning.
Pavkovich led the Bees with three hits and two runs batted in, while Willits and Morales also drove in two runs each for Salt Lake. Chris Bootcheck (2-0) earned the win, as he allowed three runs on four hits in five innings of work with three strikeouts and two walks. The win was his 32nd in a Salt Lake uniform, which ties him with LaTroy Hawkins for the all-time franchise lead.
