(KSL News) Meadow Moor Elementary students don't have to leave their school for a new one next fall. Instead, the new school is coming to them.
Students were going to transfer to Hill View Elementary School, but Granite School Board members voted last night to relocate Hill View to Meadow Moor's facility.
The board determined Meadow Moor's facility is safer with better accessibility and lower future maintenance costs than Hill View's building.
Last November, the board voted to close Meadow Moor and Canyon Rim elementaries to reduce operational costs.
