Crazy spring storm. I was all ready to wear sandals every day, and retire the white knuckles, and pack away my winter coat. I keep forgetting about April in Utah. Anyone else's workplace freezing because the heater believes April should be warmer than this?
I've been filling in producing the morning show, and this morning we sent Marc Giauque out to talk about the weather and the roads. Chris and Andy, our traffic reporters, had quite a lot on their plates too this morning. But I think it could have been worse. When I came in at 3 AM (you read that right) it wasn't snowing too bad but the roads were slick. Randall Jeppesen was reporting on the west side of the valley and says he had some scary moments on SR 201. Channel 5's Gene Kennedy had a slide-off while driving in to the station.
Meanwhile we get the news high gas prices could only go higher. Anyone else get the forwarded email asking you to boycott certain gas companies? Do you think it would work?
