We kick it off with Cody passing on his passion of the hunt. After 15 years of applying, Cody finally drew a coveted Wasatch bull elk tag. While scouting up near Strawberry, his son Gavin decided he needed to get his binos out to look look around, just like dad. Gavin is excited as dad for the hunt, his mom says this was an unforgettable moment.

Korey was hiking with his father-in-law who had already gone under this tree branch when he looked up to see this rattler staring back at him. Korey says, "He's never heard of rattle snakes in the trees, now he has watch out high and low for this guys!"

[CG :2 Line\Tony Elegante\Fishin' with a bear]

While fishing with two of his kids in the Manti La-Sal National Forest Tony took time away from catching fish to watch one of the area's other Residents. Tony saw this black bear three different times that day and was able to catch a picture of him eating a fish by the same tree where a bear stole a ham from his Grandpa's cooler, some 45 years ago.

Eight year old Cheyenee went for her very first four wheeler ride with her dad up Log Canyon near Fountain Green. This is the picture dad took when the got to the top of the mountain where Cheyenne proclaimed she was the "king of the Mountain."

But our winner tonight is a Memorial Day weekend Matt will never forget. Matt was fishing with his two young boys Ace and Rusty and their grandpa Bart when the weather started to move in and quickly turned from rain to snow. Matt took one last cast with a countdown rapala before they packed it up to head home when saw a silver flash two feet from shore. After a 10 minute battle Matt was able to haul ashore this thirty one inch, thirteen pound brown trout on six pound test line. Matt says it was a great day, but nothing compared to taking your kids fishing. A great picture, even better story Matt, one that netted you our big prize for having our...snapshot of the week.
