Austin Kafentzis QB Jordan
The super sophomore was 17-24 for 285 yards and three touchdowns through the air and added 112 yards on the ground in a 53-12 win at Fremont.

Tanner Redding WR Bountiful
Redding caught 8 passes for 151 yards helping the Braves upset Lone Peak

Tani Lehauli RB Granger
Lehauli rushed for 200 yards on just 11 carries while scoring two touchdowns in the Lancers season opening win.

Michael Anderson and Skyler Munson Pleasant Grove
Anderson threw for 362 yards and six touchdowns while Munson caught 10 passes for 214 yards and 5 of Anderson's touchdown passes.

Brandon Jenson RB Kanab
Jenson rushed for 239 yards and scored 3 times in Kanab's 42-6 win over North Sevier.

Who had the Braves knocking off the defending 5A champs to open the season?

Northridge
The Knights made a statement Friday with a road win over Logan that they are a team to watch in 5A this season

Woods Cross
The Wildcats are very close to being ranked in the top five after crushing Viewmont. Region 6 is going to be very tough once again.

Manti
The defending 2A champions are off to an impressive start shutting out Delta 28-0

San Juan
The Broncos got a big win at home against a 3A opponent as well and look to be the top challenger to Manti in 2A.
