OREM — Police have released a sketch of the man who a woman says raped her in the Cinemark Theater parking lot at University Mall.

The woman says she was leaving the theater in Orem on July 22 around 9:15 p.m. when she encountered a man using a flashlight to look under the hood of his pickup truck. She stopped to offer help and after he handed her the flashlight, he threw her head into the side of the truck, took her inside of the cab and raped her.

The suspect is described as a white male in his 30s, about 6 feet tall and 165 pounds. Police report that he had blond, shaggy hair that was lighter in color on the top than on the sides, as well as a light blond mustache and eyebrows. They also say that the back of his hands were tan with a "leathery" appearance.

The truck where the rape allegedly took place was a dark-colored 2000 or newer full-sized pickup, with an extra cab. The vehicle's exterior was described as clean and shiny with a chrome gas access door, and the interior was dirty with a musty smell.
