It's a tradition dating back over 100 years - a parade in downtown Salt Lake City to commemorate the arrival of the first Mormon pioneers in July of 1847.

Now known as the "Days of '47 KSL 5 Parade," it is the largest parade in Utah. Entries come from all over the state. Floats are constructed for months by businesses, community groups, and church groups.

This year's parade theme is "Pioneers - Building on the dream". We got a behind the scenes look at how Church members have interpreted that theme into creative, faith building floats.

To watch the "Days of 47 KSL 5 Parade" tune into KSL on Tuesday, July 24 at 9am.
