SALT LAKE CITY — The Ronald McDonald House, which provides a home-away-from-home for families of children being treated at local hospitals, recently announced plans for an $11-million expansion.
Last year the Ronald McDonald House had to turn away 522 families due to lack of space. The capital expansion will fund a new Ronald McDonald House, a renovation of the main house and a new Family Room at Primary Children's Medical Center.
