SALT LAKE CITY — The National Transportation Safety Board has released it preliminary report on a plane crash that killed four men in remote Kane County.
Investigators say the plane — which was on a sightseeing trip — crashed into mountainous terrain, killing the pilot and three passengers from Las Vegas.
The pilot did not file flight plans, but did land in Mesquite to refuel a few hours before the crash.
The group had planned to fly to Bryce Canyon Airport.
