ST. GEORGE — The trainer of a Search and Rescue dog in-training is offering $5,000 for the valuable dog.

Taffy, a one-year-old Yellow Labrador, went missing Monday in St. George near Indian Hills Drive. She was wearing tags at the time, and had recently been spayed, which left her underbelly shaved close.

Her trainer, Trevor Milton, describes her as "very obedient and friendly" and adds that if approached, she will not bite. He believes she may be in the possession of another person, and her tags may be removed.

Milton asks that if someone finds her, they return to a veterinarian or animal shelter.
