SALT LAKE CITY — There are some things that are just unique to Utah. A big one is a culinary classic you'll only find here: fry sauce.

Fry sauce, a mixture of ketchup and mayonnaise, was created by Arctic Circle restaurants sometime between 1941 and 1943. Lots of Utahns love the stuff, but others say it's "an acquired taste" they just don't have.

KSL News sent reporter Andrew Wittenberg, one of our newest faces from out of state, to investigate the special sauce and find out if it's really a favorite. Click the video above to see what he found.
