SALT LAKE CITY — Ten deserving children shopped for Mother’s Day gifts with the local PAL chapter Saturday morning.

It was part of the Dressbarn "To Mom, with Love" program, which is designed to help underprivileged kids find a special gift for their mothers.

Each child received a $50 gift card to spend on presents for his or her mother.

Too often, mothers are overlooked for their hard work and sacrifice, and this event allows children the opportunity to honor their moms on their special day.
