WEST VALLEY CITY — Will Cannon had 15 points and 12 rebounds and Olympus had no trouble with Bonneville in the opening round of the 4A state basketball tournament.

Olympus led from start to finish and held Bonneville to 29.5 percent shooting. The Lakers cut the gap to 4 in the 3rd quarter when Quinton Larsen found Mason Rich for a layup. That is as close as they would get the rest of the way.

Parker Rawlings also had a double-double for Olympus with 14 points, 12 rebounds and 3 blocks. Quinton Larsen was the leading scorer for Bonneville with 14.
