SALT LAKE CITY — Has the NBA Slam Dunk Contest jumped the shark? Probably. Does Jeremy Evans care? Probably not. Neither do Jazz fans that enjoyed watching the world learn what we already knew. Evans can dunk! If you missed his performance you can watch it HERE.

Evans is the first Jazz player to win the dunk contest, but fans may not know that he is the 6th player in franchise history to participate in the event. Here is a look back at all six from Darrell Griffith to Jeremy Evans that we aired on SportsBeat Sunday (Click above).

The best dunk of All-Star weekend may belong to comedian Kevin Hart; the same guy who played the postal worker during Jeremy Evans third dunk. You be the judge.

All-Star Game

Some basketball fans are thoroughly entertained by the NBA All-Star Game, while others see it as an unwatchable sham. Here are some of the best moments of the 2012 NBA All-Star game.

New arena for T.O.

Terrell Owens is back on the football field and you won't believe where. He is playing for the Allen Wranglers of the Indoor Football League. Yes, T.O. is playing arena football. Turns out he owns a 50 percent stake in the franchise and his debut went very well. Owens caught three passes, all of them touchdowns, in a 50- 30 victory over the Wichita Wild. Owens is hoping to get the attention of NFL teams, but isn't drawing too much interest from fans. The game drew 5,700 fans. That is well short of a sellout. And get this; he is only scheduled to play in the team's home games.

Work-related injuries

Those of you who watch the Dan Patrick Show know who Andrew "McLovin" Perloff is. For those who don't, he is a Sports Illustrated writer who appears on the show as one of the Danettes — the guys Patrick chats with during the show. While "in the booth," Perloff was plugging a Harlem Globetrotters event he was scheduled to play in. He was spinning a basketball when he lost control of it and it struck his $400 dollar glasses. I'm sure the guys on the show will be giving him a hard time about this for years to come.

What a heel

Christiano Renaldo or Lionel Messi? Soccer fans love to debate this topic. No matter which side of the debate you fall on, we can all agree that both players are spectacular. This weekend, Renaldo shows us why with this heel clicker goal. Even soccer haters have to agree that this is a remarkable play.
