SALT LAKE CITY — The patients and staff at Primary Children's Medical Center will receive a huge financial donation thanks to the generous hearts of people throughout the Intermountain West.

The 36th annual KSL Radiothon wrapped up Thursday evening, having raised a grand total of $480,278 — more than $12,000 above the target goal.

The money will help cover the costs of the services the hospital provides for families who can't afford them.
