Samantha Hayes ReportingIf you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be? That was the question for a nine-ear old boy from Bountiful, who at the time was suffering from a brain tumor.

Romney Oaks, almost 10-years old, is more interested in baseball than foreign policy. But through the Make A Wish Foundation, he had the opportunity to meet the most powerful man in the world. "Dubbya" is, of course, the famous middle initial of the 43rd President of the United States.

Romney Oaks: "It says 'W' the President, and that's really all."

But it could also stand for "Wishes," the kind for Romney Oaks that come true.

Romney Oaks, Reading Presidential Letter: "Dear Romney, it was a pleasure to welcome you and your family to the White House."

The Make A Wish Foundation came into Romney's life when he was suffering from a brain tumor in kindergarten.

Romney Oaks: "One day I had a headache. I didn't want to play with my friends. I just sat down." They took an MRI to see what was wrong. Found a brain tumor."

Elaine Oaks, Mother: "When he was out of brain surgery, he was in so much pain and they couldn't give him anymore morphine. And he was screaming and crying and I could not do anything."

At that time, and unaware of what Romney's prognosis would be, they put in a request to meet the President of the United States.

Elaine Oaks: "We waited about a year until we received a call saying, in two weeks, the President can meet you."

Romney got busy making a baseball bat in a friend's wood shop to give to give to the President, who also happens to be a big baseball fan.

Romney Oaks: "Engraved 'Genuine Bush Whacker.'"

When they met face-to-face, Romney was a little speechless.

Elaine Oaks: "He grabbed Romney and said, 'I want to meet this kid.'"

The best part is Romney is alive to tell about his Presidential experience, and the future for him looks healthy and bright.

Romney Oaks, Reading Thank You Letter: "Your strength and determination are an inspiration. Sincerely, George W. Bush."

The Oaks family says the trip was a life changing experience for all of them. Elaine Romney was pregnant with her fifth child and named him Lincoln.
