(KSL News) -- An expert on childhood development says your baby can learn to read before most infants can even speak very well.
Doctor Bob Titzer developed a program called "Your Baby Can Read." If you show your infants his interactive videos, Titzer says your kids will be reading by age two.
Miki Knowles started playing Tizer's video tapes when her twins were four months old. Now two and a half, her toddlers read on a second grade level.
Miki Knowles, Mom: "I was utterly amazed. It was one of those things that, until your child is doing it, it was hard to believe."
He created "Your Baby Can Read" as a replacement for what he calls "mindless" shows for kids. Titzer says babies are anxious to learn.
Bob Titzer, Ph.D., Infant Learning Expert: "Think we have an anti-intellectual society that views learning as negative. And the parents who have done this look at learning as fun. Babies actually love to learn."
