(KSL News) The owner of a diet clinic in Utah accused of posing as a doctor is suing Utah County and Utah state governments and the Department of Commerce.
Kelli Telford Lundahl Behle, owner of MD Diet Centers, alleges her constitutional rights have been violated.
Behle says state agents are trying to put her out of business by conducting improper searches of her businesses, seizing clientele lists and trying to scare off potential employees.
Her attorney says, "Everything she does is legal, everything she does is lawful, everything she does is proper and they want to shut her down. I have no idea as to why that is."
Behle is charged with 36 counts of racketeering, insurance fraud, forgery, illegally prescribing controlled substances and illegally claiming to have a medical license.
