WEST VALLEY CITY -- A young child was involved in an auto-pedestrian accident in West Valley City Friday afternoon.
Police officers were called to the scene around 4 p.m. near 3885 S. and Redwood Road in West Valley City after reports of a 7-year-old girl was hit by a vehicle.
A Life Flight medical helicopter transported the girl to Primary Children's Hospital in critical condition.
