(KSL News) Good news for this year's flood season. Preliminary results from a geological hazard study show Lindon isn't in immediate danger of landslides.

Lindon residents have been worried because two areas on the mountains above nearby Cedar Hills shifted last spring, spurring muslides that destroyed foundations and forced families from their homes.

There haven't been any landslides yet this year, but both cities plan to be prepared.

Engineers say they'll monitor the area, but they don't foresee any major problems.
