(KSL News) -- Washington County Sheriff's Deputies seized 26 pounds of marijuana in an early morning traffic stop.

A deputy pulled over the vehicle near mile marker 6 for failing to use a signal.

The deputy said he could smell marijuana in the car and noticed fragments of the drug on a passenger's shirt. Amphetamines, drug paraphernalia and a large amount of cash was also found in the car.

Both people inside the car were taken into custody.
