Idaho State (2-8), which was led by Melvin Morgan's 13 points, has lost 18 in a row against Pac-12 teams dating back to a 62-57 victory over Oregon in the 1986-87 season.
The game was tight, as neither team led by more than nine points until late in the second half. Then the Utes ratcheted up the defensive pressure and got hot on the other end.
The Utes had trouble finding shots against the Bengals' zone until they got points in transition and Martin found his range from the perimeter.
