SALT LAKE CITY -- Several New York high school students were suspended this past week for "Tebowing" in the hallway of their school.
NBC New York reports administrators at Long Island's Riverhead High School told the teens they could not mimic the Denver Broncos' quarterback by kneeling and bowing their heads in the hall because it would pose a safety hazard.
The students say they were not warned and just wanted to pay tribute to Tebow, who is known for his strong religious beliefs and praying during games.
