The Bulldogs finished with 21 assists against six turnovers compared to the Utes' 10 assists and 14 turnovers. Fresno State scored 24 points off the turnovers and held Utah without a fast-break point.

Fresno State shot a season-high 58.2 percent from the floor, including 64.5 percent in the second half.

At full strength following early season ankle and Achilles tendon injuries, Foster put back a missed shot with 1 second left in the first half to put the Bulldogs ahead 35-25 at the break.

With Utah focused on stopping Olekaibe and his 21.9 point scoring average, Jonathan Wills led the Bulldogs with 11 first-half points.

Wills' corner 3-pointer sparked a 7-0 run late in the half. The senior then drew a charge on the opposite end to force a turnover.

Utah, off to its worst start in school history, shot 34.8 percent in the first half. Washburn had 10 points and seven rebounds.

Josh Watkins added 11 points and five assists for the Utes after leading Utah in scoring each of its first six games.
