SALT LAKE CITY -- Don't feel bad if you've decided not to go out shopping today. Some retail analysts say Black Friday deals may be great, but better deals may be down the road.
Black Friday and Cyber Monday may be the biggest days that retailers promote to entice customers. But big box stores will still have plenty of merchandise they'll need to unload.
Freebies2deals.com owner Melea Johnson said, "They're going to have to drop prices again sometime between Black Friday and Christmas at least once."

Johnson says stores will frequently raise the prices of all sorts of things back to normal immediately after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. But, keep checking the prices of the items on your gift list online.
"A lot of times you will find deals for items on your Christmas list that are cheaper about two weeks after Black Friday and Cyber Monday," Johnson said. Of course, this is a gamble. So, if you see a deal that you think is great, Johnson says grab it.
There are other deals out there that Johnson says people are overlooking. For example, she says people should really pay attention to the "lightning deals" on Amazon.com.
- Check prices online
- Grab a great deal
- Check Amazon.com
- Look for gift card deals
"(The) lightning deals that Amazon.com has, they do come quickly and they do leave quickly. But they are some of the best deals that you will find for Black Friday if you are willing to check Amazon.com a few times a day just to see what deals are coming up," she said. Plus, shoppers can save money on their gift list if they look for "gift card deals." This is where the retailer will give you a gift card for use inside their store.
"Usually, (it's) the big-ticket items like the X boxes or the PlayStations that have those gift card deals. I know Best Buy, Walmart, Target and Toys R Us are all doing gift card deals."
