SALT LAKE CITY -- Trying to keep your account from going into the red this week? Keep on top of Black Friday deals with bargain hunting websites and smartphone applications.

That is the advice of Mike "PC Mike" Wendland, technology correspondent for NBC. Wendland highlighted three websites and apps that aggregate Black Friday deals to help bargain hunters get the best bang for their buck.

Dealnews.com

Dealnews.com allows visitors to find deals by store or category. The website boasts of the ability to find the best deals, year around, but there is a section dedicated to Black Friday deal-hunting. There is also a free app available for iPhone and Android.

Google Shopper

Google Shopper provides "one-stop shopping for everything available online." The app allows users to find nearby offers, scan products to find the best prices online and share finds via posts to popular social networks. Google Shopper is a free app available for iPhone or Android.

TGI Black Friday

TGI Black Friday allows users to search deals and create shopping lists before most Black Friday deals are announced. The app is available for iPhone or Android and is continuously updated with thousands of deals.
