(KSL News) -- The Hogle Zoo and the This is the Place Heritage Park are looking to team up in a major expansion project.
The Hogel Zoo has about 40 acres of property at the mouth of Emigration Canyon. This is the Place Heritage Park has another 450 acres on the other side of the road.
A detailed design and economic plan won't be released for another three months, but it's a multi-million-dollar project that involves property sharing and cooperative development.
