(KSL News) -- A teenager says two men in Sandy drove past him and started shooting. At this point, police say they're not convinced.
The teen says he was walking alone last night near 320 E. 10195 South, when a red car pulled up beside him. The men inside called him a "Blood" -- which is a member of a specific gang. Then the men fired at least two shots -- striking him in the arm and chin.
Police aren't sure.
Sgt.Victor Quezada, Sandy City Police Dept.: "We're getting several stories from him, so we're trying to verify. The investigators have been to several locations trying to verify what actually took place."
The boy went to Alta View Hospital, but instead of going inside for help, he pounded on the door of the Women's center. He eventually made his way inside the hospital.
At this point police have no suspects. They are not sure if it is gang related..
