(KSL News) -- A dump truck in Bountiful rolled and spilled a pile of dirt on the street today.
The driver was westbound on 400 North when his brakes gave out. Witnesses say he did a good job manuvering the vehicle nearly five blocks before the truck crashed and overturned.
It spilled three-quarters of its load into the intersection.
When police arrived the driver was lying on the ground. He was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Crews closed the street until the dirt and wreckage was cleaned up.
