(KSL News) A motorist was badly injured in a severe crash on Interstate-80 at SR 201 overnight.
A man lost control of his car, overcorrected, swerved into the median, and rolled several times. He landed in oncoming traffic and a semi ran into his car.
The man is in critical condition this morning. The driver of the semi truck wasn't hurt.
Investigators can't determine for sure yet, but they say drugs or alcohol were likely involved. The eastbound lanes of I-80 were shut down while crews cleaned up the wreck.
