(KSL News) The man who was injured at a Utah gas plant is asking for $120 million.

More than 14 percent of Michael Melton's body suffered third degree burns during an explosion in Lisbon Valley in 2004.

His attorneys say he's already spent nearly $300,000 in medical costs, and $120 million is needed to cover future expenses.

Attorneys for EnCana Oil & Gas, the company that merged with the plant after the accident, say the amount does not match his future needs.

The jury is expected to reach a decision today.
