SPRINGDALE, UTAH (AP) -- Zion National Park opened all of its backcountry after the threat of wildfires subsided.
Park officials closed the backcountry six weeks ago.
Now they're warning about the possibility of erosion and flash flooding because of the loss of vegetation.
Hikers may still see or smell smoke from sporadic fires, but park officials say the remaining fires are contained and burning out.
