Two people were inside the house when they felt the bump, but no one was injured. The parked car was totaled.

Arlene Crebs/ Car Hit: "We were inside the house when we heard this great big boom. Then had someone tell me that there was a bad accident out there. We came out, investigated, and our car had just been hit really hard."

The van came extremely close to also hitting a gas main.

The driver tried to flee but a group of neighbors stopped him until police came. Police believe the driver was intoxicated and he's under arrest.
