OREM — Taylor Camp threw four touchdown passes, three to Cole Payne and one to Joe Jensen, to lead Orem over Provo 52-35. Mike Mua added two touchdown runs, while Kaleb Egbert had one. But the biggest story of the day offensively was kicker Matt Gay, who kicked a 54-yard field goal to put Orem up 34-13 late in the second quarter.

"I am happy with the win, but we made a lot of mistakes as a team," said Orem head coach Tyler Anderson.

Anderson referred to the Tigers' second-half performance, which allowed Provo to score three touchdowns, with two of those coming from Orem turnovers, and a lackluster performance from the defense after a strong showing in the first half.

That sentiment was echoed by Provo head coach Saia Pope, who thought his team made the same mistakes that doomed it during the previous week against Highland. "We just can't make the same mistakes if we want to win games," said Pope. Kyle Larsen was the only bright spot for Provo as he ran for 266 yards and three scores in the loss.
