SALT LAKE CITY — If every time you bought a shirt someone in need would get one too, imagine how it could help our community. That is the goal of one business owner.
Dan Gigante is the owner of clothing store You and Who. The store donates a shirt to shelters for every one that he sells.
Gigante is traveling the country to spread the word about his company. He was in Salt Lake City Wednesday donating several shirts to the Road Home and the Salt Lake Rescue Mission.
Business is good, he says, but the giving is even better.
"One of the best parts of doing this is when I get to go to the shelter and organizations," Gigante said. "I work with and deliver them to the people that actually get them, so it is the best feeling. Sometimes its kids come running up to me thanking me. It's awesome."
Look for Gigante's shirts in local retail stores, or you can buy one on his company website www.youandwho.com.
