WEST WENDOVER, Nev. — A man found dead in an intersection here early Sunday morning has been identified by authorities as Terron Demtrices Horton, 22, West Valley City.
Horton was apparently struck by a vehicle, although the cause of his death has not yet been determined. His body was found in the road at the intersection of Wells Avenue and Wendover Boulevard shortly before 2 a.m. Sunday.
Horton's body will be transported to the Washoe County Medical Examiner in Reno for an autopsy.
The incident is under investigation by the West Wendover Police Department. No persons of interest have been identified but officers are working some leads, according to Sgt. David Wiskerchen.
