(KSL News) -- Police administrators have released dispatch tapes of a wild shootout in Duchesne County.

Officer:"Shots fired. Suspect down. Shots fired."

Dispatcher: "Copy 1803."

Officer:"100 Price Shots fired. Suspect Down."

The shooting earlier this week ended at the summit of Indian Canyon on Highway 191. A Duchesne County Sheriff's Deputy had tried to pull over the suspect. He went off the road and opened fire on the officers.

They returned fire and killed 42-year-old Tony Shane Francis, a parolee out of Oregon.
