OGDEN, Utah (AP) -- Utah children walking or riding a bicycle to school can go to a state Web site to find a route.

The Student Neighborhood Access Program is available from the Utah Department of Transportation. The goal is to get students to school without having to dodge cars and trucks, if possible.

The computer program uses maps of the area around a school and allows users to mark street signals, crosswalks and other traffic features.

Maps for every Utah elementary school are online, and maps for other schools are planned. Go to udot.utah.gov/snap
