(KSL News) A glider pilot, trying to land at the Russ McDonald Airfield in Heber City, crashed.

The single-seat glider crashed just 100 yards south of a runway.

The 55-year-old pilot was hurt in the crash. He was flown to the hospital with leg and ankle injuries.

The cause of that accident is under investigation.
