(KSL News) An Orem man is accused of threatening his mother with a pair of scissors.
The mother told police her son held her hostage for two hours, pointing scissors at her, threatening to "kill her, stab her and smash her head in."
The son is in the Utah County jail for investigation of threats against life, assault and unlawful detention.
