Lance Bandley reporting Bullets flew into three different Salt Lake City homes Saturday night and Sunday morning, narrowly missing occupants.
Yesterday afternoon someone fired gunshots, hitting two homes next to each other. One of the bullets went through a bedroom where two young children were sleeping.
Police found an abandoned car they believe was involved in the shooting, but they have no suspects.
The night before, another house was hit by a bullets. A family, including an 11-year old, was watching TV in their home when they heard a gunshot.
"A husband and wife and an 11-year-old daughter were in the front room of their home watching television when the mother had gotten up to go into the kitchen. She heard a shot, turned around, and there was glass coming through the window," says Salt Lake City Police Detective Dwayne Baird.
A bullet hit the front room window behind them, hitting the entertainment center across the room.
Investigators say the residents looked out the window, but didn't see anyone driving away. Officers say the last shooting appears to be gang-related.
Police aren't sure if the shootings are related.
