Many of you read my previous blog on my laundry experience. Luckily I still have my home, but I turned over the pink slip to my car. Honestly, it is still hard to believe we are paying as much as we are for laundry, but the hangers we get our close back on are really shiny. Anyway, we had another realization about how preposterous the cost is. Kevin was wandering the mall one day and found a washer and dryer for only 400 Euro. Combined the nine of us probably spent, well... I don’t think I even want to speculate. But we came to the conclusion it would probably have been more cost effective to just spend the 400 Euro for the combo and wash it our selves. Maybe even charge others staying in our Media Village a small fee to use our equipment. Then sell it off... when we’re done. What a concept wasted. Ah well... if you think about it... we wouldn’t have gotten our underwear back on hangers.
